Academic Calendar

The Qalam Seminary runs on a standard fall to spring academic year calendar. In addition to time off for Eid, students receive a fall, winter, and spring break. Classes are in session during Ramadan but with an adjusted timetable to accommodate students’ ʿībādah and schedules.

    Last Day to Add a Class: Thursday, September 7th, 2023.

    Last Day to Drop a Class with a Full Refund: Thursday, September 28th, 2023.

    Fall Break: Sunday, November 19th, 2023 – Sunday, November 26th, 2023. (Classes resume Monday, November 27th, 2023)

  • The Ramadan 2024 schedule will be from 10am–3pm. The period breakdown is as follows:

    Period 1: 10:00 – 10:40am
    Period 2: 10:50 – 11:30am
    Period 3: 11:40 – 12:20pm
    Period 4: 12:30 – 1:10pm
    Period 5: 1:20 – 2:00pm
    Period 6: 2:15 – 3:00pm
