Shaykh Mubeen Joins the Seminary!

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our Qalam Seminary family, Shaykh Mubeen Kamani, who will be joining us as the Head of Student Services and a faculty member. As someone who has dedicated many years to community work, Shaykh Mubeen will be instrumental in training our Alimiyyah students to effectively serve and grow communities. As the Head of Student Services, he will provide leadership and guidance to our student body throughout the entire student life cycle, from onboarding and orientation to career development and alumni engagement with the goal of ensuring students’ academic success, spiritual development, and overall well-being, InshāAllah.
May his addition to the team be a means of khayr and barakah for our entire community.

About Shaykh Mubeen Kamani
Shaykh Mubeen Kamani serves as the Head of Student Services and a faculty member at the Qalam Seminary.
Shaykh Mubeen was born in Chicago, IL. At a very young age, Shaykh Mubeen began his lifelong pursuit of Islamic Knowledge. He later completed his ʿĀlimiyyah studies from the acclaimed Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya Bury. He has been serving the community for almost twenty years, initially as an Imam and Islamic school teacher in Chicago.
For the past seven years, he served as the youth director at the Islamic Center of Frisco, where he developed programming and provided counseling services. There, he launched Safwah, a four-year educational program designed to help high school students build their Islamic identity through relatable traditional knowledge. He has also guided many Hajj & Umrah groups for Qalam Travel. Currently, he resides in Frisco, TX with his wife and five kids.
